Maybe not a secret to its residents, but a a nice surprise for visitors – St Paul’s Community Centre, a beautiful church as well as cafe – the soup is second to none! And there are spaces for art exhibitions and several community events too.
This church still has services, but other churches that find themselves without regular followers, might well be able to take a leaf out of this book. I was thinking of the very pretty church at Stanmer
