Discovered a brilliant poet… hooray for youtube!

Just discovered this wonderful poet  Mario Petrucci   … I  wish I had discovered him earlier,  but then I came to poetry rather late in life.  But it’s great that with youtube one can make a new discovery every day – nearly glad I’m in bed with dreadful cold or may not have taken the time to seek him out. The film on this site is just one of Mario’s,  all brilliant.

I love the fact he regards all poetry as experimental and the story of his relationship with his Italian grandfather as well as his poetry, ranging from love to Chernobyl!

One of his books is called ‘Tulips’, another ‘Heavy Water: A poem for Chernobyl’

Plenty to watch and enjoy.
