Out in the garden and there is nothing quite like seeing the results of one’s own efforts even if, as in my case, it is all a bit hit and miss! But I still can’t understand people having gardeners unless they are passed doing the work themselves. It is being in touch with the earth than does it for me!
Alan and I both love our garden but this year we have gone in for a lot of bark chippings to suppress the weeds. We can still get down to them but it is quite difficult to get up again! Can it be as one gets older one loses a bit of spring (spring as in jack in the boxes)?
