Maybe he was trying to find somewhere soft to land, glad it wasn’t in

our pond, it had taken all afternoon to remove all the algae so the frogs

actually have room to swim!

The sweetcorn is doing fine but the slugs and snails have tucked into

all the emerging runner beans. It looked as though we’d just  be eating

garlic for ever and for all the effort it was rather small, but luckily we

found we had another crop of broad beans and the cherries had ripened!
