The last work on the allotment for the winter

Big tidy up for the winter and the last handful of bits and bobs may just add up to a bowl of soup!

I love having an allotment, it’s a haven of peace and positive activity.

The only thing I’m going to plant next week are some early broad beans. Will start early garlic in pots as recommended by someone in the know and winter them in my greenhouse. Goodness knows how the knitted toy that we inherited from the last owner has lasted this long, but she looks happy enough.
