Writing, painting and puppetry are all creative, but sometimes I wonder if creating a garden over the last six years or setting up our allotment over the last three hasn’t been equally creative. It is great to share them too and on a blog, a bonus.

They say as one gets older growing things becomes more important as part of a sort of winding down and perhaps the need for renewal.

Here in my garden the birds are a constant delight, raspberries and artichokes grow among the flowers. On our allotment we now have the benefit of several things to harvest, although just one sunflower took root despite planting  several there and in the garden.

Growing things is wonderful.   Flowers bloom and fade, fruits form, seeds fall to the ground, crops are gathered, to leave time for the earth to renew so it can start all over again.
