The last clock burns!

Burning the Clocks is a unique event where local people make their own paper clocks and willow lanterns, take part in a procession through the city, before burning them in a huge bonfire on the beach. Music and fireworks also mark the year’s end.

This film is about six years old. Burning the clocks is considered by some to be a celebration of the winter’s solstice.
