The Changing Season

 The weather promised to be sunny yesterday, so I decided to do a quick dash to the allotment to finish putting in the garlic and onions.

There was a lot of tidying up to to do too. Foliage had had to be cut down because it was overshadowing a lot of my crops all summer. It seemed like now or never!  However noticed some of the newts were about to hibernate round the pond so winter really is beckoning.   It will be good to have warm fires, soups and stews again!
