The Ragged Phoenix Morris in Rottingdean

Well it was St George’s Day Celebations and the Queen Vic in Rottingdean had pulled out all the stops. There was the wonderful Imogen and her jazz group,  a visit from retired greyhounds.1-P1020948 Later the Copper family folk singers were to appear, we have seen them several times before and always brilliant. But one of todays highlights had to be the Morris Dancers.

1-DSCF8168However th14-P1020976ere was no food as it had finished early,  so we popped along to another of our favourite places Beyond Design for coffee, a hot chocolate, po13-P1020975sh cake and real french tart.

Rottingdean is always full of surprises.
